Remote Management

RFOptic offers optional HTML/SNMP based remote management options for chassis based deployments

RFoF modules are programmable.  Each standalone module can be accessed through a USB port.  In multi link deployments the chassis or ODU that houses RFoF modules has also a USB connection that allows the user to access all the internal modules.

When the optional RFoF Remote management (RFoF-RM) is chosen the USB interface is replaced by a RJ-45 Interface which enables the user to access the chassis or the ODU (Outdoor distribution Unit) through an Ethernet connection using HTML or SNMP protocols.

As can be seen in the screenshot below HTML access allows all the modules and associated events t be viewed through a web browser. If needed, the user can click on each module to control them individually.
